Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Best chicken tacos ever!! If you order to go make sure you check your food. 3 times they have given me beef instead of chicken.

The other reviewers who gave this place many stars must have been drinking tequilas! It's a hole in the wall. There were 5 of us, including teenage boys, and no one liked their food. We are pretty sure the ground beef was not beef at all. Weird taste & a powdery texture. Truly expected to get sick but didn't. Salsa is brought out in a carafe with individual small bowls, which was a nice way for us not to double dip. Guacamole was pretty tasty too. Service was fast.

Good chips, good salsa, lacked salt.. Better when you mix regular and hot. Cheese dip, really thin but good flavor. Guacamole, nice and chunky.. But really bland, lacked salt. Tequila nachos, really good. Rice, yum. Beans, bland. Long wait... But food was more good than bad.. I'm being really picky, I'd go back.

Mexican is my favorite. This is my favorite Mexican place to eat when visiting Branson. It's a little more of a drive than a few others you'd come across if you're heading there from downtown Branson, but worth it.

Had a great visit. The food had good flavor and the server was attentive. We were pleased with our meal. We were glad we had chosen Tequila's. It was a rainy night, just calling for good Mexican food.

Best carnitas in the history of the world. Prompt, attentive service. The attention to quality is obvious in every plate. Don't let the location (in a strip mall) dissuade you from visiting. Truly a hidden gem.

This business is not Ruth's Chris Steak House and my rating was based on the food quality/flavor and the value paid for the service. Stopped in late on a Thursday, before Memorial Day Weekend. Everyone was "starving". We consider our family to be part Mexican because half our food intake is awesome Mexican food like the food and service we got at Tequila's! Left a huge tip and they earned every bit of it. The prices they charged were very reasonable. We do Table Rock often and so far this is our favorite. Highly recommend the Carnitas and Beef Fajitas - both meals were excellent; decent flavored salsa too. Didn't have time to test the bar, so we'll stay thirsty my friends....until next time.

Well, we went with a medium sized group, so I expected the service to be slow...but it was a bit slower than it should have been. Lunch took about 1.5 hours total. The chips and salsa were good. The chips were cold the first time, but all the refills were hot chips. I like hot chips. :) The salsa was medium-low heat, just right. I am a big fan of Chevy's Fresh Mex, California Mexican food, and authentic Mexican. This didn't satisfy any of those niches. My meal was about $10, and it only included a tiny tamale, a tiny taco, and a tiny enchilada. Honestly, for the price I was so disappointed I couldn't help but to ask the server, "Is this is?" He tried to rectify the situation by giving me some Spanish rice, but even that was only so-so. Even so, that gesture is why they got two stars instead of one. Another guy I was with ordered the nachos appetizer. It was very droll. It was literally chips, ground beef and cheese. This place could not decide if it wanted to be Tex Mex or authentic. Tex Mex usually creates big, overstuffed, cheesy ground beef nachos; authentic usually contains shredded beef, cheese and maybe beans. They sort of mixed the worst of the two...*sigh* The food was OK, but again, it was nothing special to me. I cannot say I will ever go again. I think I would rather patronize the local Taco Bell and save quite a bit of cash.

service was excellant, food was good, not real spicy & flavor was a little above plain, food portions were large, so you difinitely get your monies worth

Food was GREAT! The pico de gallo was fresh & tasty! We had chimichangas (beef & chicken) and one kid had a cheese quesadilla. Salsa at the table was "just right" with spice and we ate two full baskets of chips! We will be back if ever in the area!
